Painter Mark Tweedie and sculptor Susan Flavell return to the region for a weekend of creative inspiration following the success of the inaugural Hedland Art Awards Artists' Lab in 2018. Set in the historic town of Marble Bar, the two-day event welcomes artists of all levels to participate in practical workshops in landscape painting and sculptural technique with found objects. Be inspired by the visiting artists as you immerse yourself in a weekend of creative development.
Join renowned Western Australian artists Mark Tweedie and Susan Flavell for a weekend of creative inspiration in iconic Marble Bar. Tailored to artists at all levels of experience, the weekend will comprise practical workshops in landscape painting and sculptural technique with found objects, as well as inspiring talks by the visiting artists.

Saturday and Sunday lunches and refreshments throughout the camp.
Participants must source their own accommodation in Marble Bar on Friday 22 and Saturday 23 March, and make their own way to and from the various workshop locations. The Courthouse Gallery can recommend accommodation options in Marble Bar.
